Priority Tickets – what to look out for in May 2019
Priority has some major perks. Free coffees, high street discounts and – the biggie – early access to gig tickets. Here are the ones to look out for in May 2019.
Picture this: your favourite band are in town. Your mates elect you (the responsible one) to buy the tickets when they’re released. The time arrives. SOLD OUT. Nightmare.
Fear not. With Priority, you get early access to tickets, so you’ll never miss another gig. We’ve rounded up our top shows in May so you can avoid FOMO.
Zara Larsson
The upbeat-pop Swedish singer-songwriter is appearing in both Manchester and Brixton. Expect to hear top hits “Ruin My Life” and “Lush Life” amongst other tracks.
R2Bees
This Ghanaian hip-hop duo are set to play at the O2 Forum in Kentish Town on 26 May. R2Bees combine rap with African pop and reggae to create their unique sound, which is often performed in their native language, Twi.
I Don’t Know How But They Found Me
An electro-rock duo featuring ex-Panic! at the Disco bassist, Dallon Weekes, on vocals and bass, with Ryan Seaman on drums. The group was founded in 2009, but remained a closely guarded secret until 2016. They even denied the band existed when confronted with photos and videos from live performances. Appearing in Birmingham and Bristol this May.
Bingo Lingo
OK. We’re cheating with this one. It isn’t technically a gig. It is, however, a great night out. Think bingo, but more ravey. Appearing in Oxford on 11 May.
I Love the 90s vs I Love the 00s
Another one that isn’t really a gig, but still something you don’t want to miss. This throwback party features all the best hits from the 90s and 00s, whether they’re guilty pleasures, indie hits, dance anthems, pop or rock. Join the fun at O2 Academy2, Islington on 3 May.
