Working together to cut out fraud

Star Trader pays you £5 commission every time one of your sims gets topped up (we call this an activation). 

The good news is the less fraud and spam we have, the more rewards we can give you. That’s why we’re always giving you the chance to get more than your commission.

Reducing fraud and spam

As a Star Trader you’ve accepted our terms of trading.

You mustn’t top up the sim on behalf of the customer. We check your activations every month and if we find any sims have been pre-loaded, we won’t pay you for it.

How you can help

We understand it’s hard to keep track of your customers, so please follow the steps below to stop it from happening to you:

1. Only give sims to customers who’ll use the sims themselves.

2. Don’t top up the sim on behalf of the customer.

3. Don’t give out lots of sims to companies.

4. If a company comes to you wanting lots of sims, get in touch with us.

5. Where possible, only give your sims to people you know.

 

If we find any sims that have been linked to fraud (sims topped up with a fraudulent cards or bank details) and spam (nuisance calls and texts) committed by your customers we will suspend your Star Trader account.
