What happens if my sims are misused?

If we have a reason to believe your sims are being misused, we may withhold payments, downgrade or even suspend your account. If we have reason to believe that mobile numbers are being captured and used to send SPAM texts, or targeted unwanted messages to customers, we will be required to suspend your account immediate effect until further notice. You'll not receive commission on sims which we've disconnected.

 

Do I have to buy sims from O2?

No, you can order sims free of charge on your Star Trader account.

How can I keep track of my activations?

Keeping track of your activations is easy. You can everything you need on your Star Trader dashboard.

What are the trader tiers?

There are four main Star Trader tiers. Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.

As a new trader, you'll start on the Bronze tier and will move up and down tiers depending on your activation rate and number of activations you receive.

An activation is when a sim is topped up for the first time with £10 or more.

Your activation rate shows the percentage of your activated sims against the sims you order. You can find your activation rate on your dashboard.

Your account and tier status will be reviewed 4 times a year. To do this, we’ll take an average of your activation rate each month and will review it every 3 months:

Quarterly Reviews

Quarter 1: January, February, March

Quarter 2: April, May, June

Quarter 3: July, August, September

Quarter 4: October, November, December

If your average activation rate and activation volumes for that quarter fall above or below the following requirements, we’ll move you up or down tiers at the end of each quarter.

Please note, you cannot move up more than one trader tier at a time.

We’ll take a record of your activation rate on the last day of each month and carry out the tier upgrades and downgrades on the last day of each quarter.

If you join Star Trader after the first monthly activation rate is taken, we’ll review your tier status in the next quarter.
