What are the Terms and Conditions?

 Star Trader Programme

 

  1. The Star Trader programme (the “programme") is open to UK residents (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) aged 16 years or over (“participants”).

  2.  Under the programme, participants who choose to sign up will receive a £5 reward for every new customer (“customer") who tops-up £10 or more for the first time on a Pay As You Go sim ordered through the programme (applies to activations received from 1st January 2015 onwards)

  3. The right of the participants to receive payment is subject to their on-going compliance with these terms and conditions. (‘’The promoter’’) may withhold payments, downgrade accounts or suspend accounts in the event of a breach of any of these terms and conditions or the Pay As You Go airtime terms and conditions. The promoter may, at its sole discretion, suspend or remove a participant from the programme at any time and without notice, and withhold, claim back, or seek reimbursement of, or payment from any participant in any reasonable circumstances, including but not limited to the following:

    a) If the participant has breached these or any other applicable terms and conditions;

    b) If the promoter suspects or has reasonable grounds to believe that the participant has provided incorrect or misleading information to any customer or to the promoter;

    c) If any customer tops-up sims provided by the participant using a stolen, invalid or expired credit or debit card or the promoter is required to refund a credit or debit card provider in respect of any sim top- ups;

    d) If the promoter suspects the participant is otherwise misusing or interfering in any way with the programme or the O2 network;

    e) If the promoter receives a complaint about a participant;

    f) If the participant has otherwise engaged in conduct which may breach any law or regulation or be to the detriment of the promoter’s reputation.

    g) If a participant has used unauthorised third parties to distribute sims on their behalf.

4. Any individual’s personal information obtained under this programme will be used in accordance with the promoter’s Privacy Policy, which is available at www.o2.co.uk/termsandconditions

5. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any incorrectly completed, lost or delayed registration applications, notices, acceptances or other documents related to the programme.

6. It is the responsibility of all participants to keep their Star Trader Programme account login details secure. The promoter will not be responsible for loss, damage or any other issues arising out of unauthorised access to any participant’s Star Trader programme account.

7. Participants must keep the details provided in their Star Trader programme account (“account”) complete and accurate at all times. The promoter reserves the right to request proof of any participant’s identity at any time. If the participant fails to respond to this request within the reasonable time period specified, the promoter may close that participant’s Star Trader programme account with immediate effect, whereupon the participant will cease to have any rights under these terms and conditions.

8. Participants are prohibited to sign up more than one account for themselves or register on behalf of other participants. Participants’ despatch address and bank details must only be registered to one account. If the promoter suspects that a participant has attempted to open and / or use more than one account, the promoter has the right to suspend any suspected accounts including the participant’s original account without notice. Participants may be required to provide proof of identification if the promoter suspects that participants are using or attempting to use more than one account.

9. Once signed up, participants will be allocated a tier (Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum) and given a monthly sim allowance of at least 20 sims. The promoter reserves the right to change a participant’s tier and sim allowance for any reason at any time on reasonable notice. For more details on tiers visit: support.o2startrader.co.uk

10. The promoter reserves the right to upgrade or downgrade participants to another tier if their activation rate falls and / or activation volumes fall above or below the requirements.

11. The promoter reserves the right to downgrade a participant if the promoter reasonably suspects that they have breached the programme’s terms and conditions and / or the promoter’s Pay As You Go terms and conditions.

12. Ordered sims will be sent to participants from the promoter in a welcome pack, which should be passed on to friends, family and other potential customers for activation. After placing an order, participants should allow approximately 14 days for delivery of sims.

13. Participants may not use this programme for commercial transactions. Participants must distribute their sims directly to individual customers and must not distribute their sims to advertising or marketing companies, sim distributors, sub-distributors, agencies or through any other trading partners / third parties. Participants may not enter into agreements for onward distribution of sims.

14. Sims ordered through the programme must not be used to send unsolicited communications. Participants must not use the sim cards in this way, or permit others to do so. Any sims ordered through the programme found to be sending unsolicited messages will be disconnected and participants will be suspended from the programme without notice. Any commission owed on the disconnected sims will not be honoured and any commission owed during the participant’s suspension period will not be honoured.

15. Participants must not top-up the sims on behalf of the customer and must not distribute pre topped-up sims.

16. The promoter reserves the right to withhold a participant’s commission payments where the promoter suspects multiple sims have been activated by the participant in order to receive commission.

17. Participants must not put any pressure on potential customers, nor send them unsolicited correspondence, regarding the activation or topping-up of sims distributed by participants under the programme.

18. Only sims ordered through the Star Trader programme website are capable of producing rewards for participants.

19. All undisputed and accrued rewards will be paid to participants two months after sims have been activated. They will be paid by electronic transfer from the bank account nominated by the participant for this purpose.

20. Commission payments remain at the discretion of the promoter. The promoter reserves the right to change / alter the commission structure (including reward value) at their discretion and without notice.

21. Participants are not permitted to seek any losses, damages or financial reimbursement from the programme, other than valid and genuine commission payments owed on activations which do not breach these terms and conditions.

22. Participants are responsible for complying with any additional terms and conditions imposed on them by their nominated bank account.

23. Participants are responsible for any tax liability incurred as a result of taking part in the programme.

24. If a participant fails to provide the promoter with requested contact or bank account details, or provides incorrect details, or fails to keep details updated, the participant may not receive payment as set out above. The promoter accepts no responsibility for such occurrences. In particular, if a participant fails to provide correct bank details within 90 days of any reward being earned, they shall forfeit any claim to that reward.

25. In the event that any participant closes their Star Trader programme account, they will immediately lose entitlement to any rewards accrued but not yet paid under the programme.

26. The promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to remove or suspend a participant from the programme where it is felt that the member could be misusing/abusing the programme or is in breach of these Terms or Conditions. The promoter also has the ability and control to suspend / unsuspend any user’s accounts without given notice.

27. The promoter may amend, suspend, withdraw or terminate the programme at any time and for any reason on at least 30 days’ notice, which will be provided by email to participants and/or on the promoter’s O2 website and/or on Star Trader account. Any rewards genuinely accrued before the date on which the programme is amended, suspended, withdrawn or terminated as appropriate will be paid as provided by these terms.

28. All decisions by the promoter on matters relating to the programme are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

29. These terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with the Pay & Go airtime terms and conditions at o2.co.uk/terms. Where there is conflict between the two sets of terms, the airtime terms shall take precedence.

O2 Star Trader - Triple Commission Prize Draw - Key Terms and Entry Instructions

1) Offer Period: Opening date - 00:01 GMT on 19 April 2018. Closing date – 23:59 GMT on 13 June 2018

2) Participation Criteria: The Prize Draw is only open to participants of the Star Trader programme only (“Star Traders”). To enter the Prize Draw Star Traders must achieve a target minimum of 10 uncleansed activations of £10, £20 or £30 data Big Bundles (“Eligible Sims”) within the Offer Period. Star Traders who achieve the target minimum will automatically entered into the Prize Draw. Only entry be Star Trader.

How targets are calculated: An activation occurs when a customer acquired by the participating Star Trader, tops up their sim by at least £10. Only activations on Eligible Sims will count towards the minimum entry target. Only activations that have been checked as not being suspected of fraud or spam (“Cleansed Activations”) will count towards the calculation of Prize Commission. 

3) Prizes and Rewards: The Prize Draw Prize is an additional £10 commission per Cleansed Activation (“Prize Commission”) on top of the standard £5 commission per Cleansed Activation. There is only 1 Prize available. All eligible entries will be pooled and a winner drawn from that pool the next working day after the Closing date. The winner will be contacted via the email address associated with their Star Trader account and must respond promptly, in accordance with Clause 6 of these terms and in accordance with instructions to claim the Prize Draw Prize. Payment will be made by bank transfer shortly after valid claim. The Winner will be paid Prize Commission via bacs transfer, with their corresponding standard commission payments, in September 2018. 

4) This Prize Draw is open to Star Traders only, , excluding employees of O2, or any of its subsidiary companies, their families, agents or anyone else connected with this promotion. No third party entries, bulk entries or entries submitted by agents will be accepted. O2 reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. O2 may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for the purpose of verifying the eligibility of an entry and the prize may be withheld until and unless O2 is satisfied with the verification. 

5) Only one entry per Star Trader (if applicable) is allowed. Entries not complying with these terms and conditions will be invalid. 

6) The Prize Draw runs during the Offer Period until the specified Closing Date. Entries received after this date and time will not be entered into the Prize Draw.

7) The instructions provided at the point of entry form part of the terms & conditions of this Prize Draw, and in the event of a conflict, these terms & conditions take precedence. 

8) The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received. The winner will be notified within 5 working days after the Draw Date or any subsequent draw either by email, mail or telephone. The prize is awarded conditionally upon acceptance and if a winner is unable to be contacted after a reasonable period or if any prize is unclaimed or declined within a reasonable period, the prize shall be deemed as unclaimed or unaccepted and a supplementary winner may be drawn at O2's discretion. 

9) O2 will not be responsible for any inability of a prize winner to take up the specified prize. 

10) Unless otherwise expressly stated, where the prize requires attendance at a specific venue, the winner and any permitted companions will be solely responsible for travel to and from the venue and all other expenses. O2 assumes no responsibility and is not liable for any costs, charges or expenses which winners may be required to pay at any time in connection with a Prize. Any additional terms of entry specified by the venue will also apply which, in the case of events at The O2, can be viewed online at http://www.theo2.co.uk/web/guest/termsandconditions. 

11) O2 reserves the right to provide substitute prize(s) of similar value should the specified prize(s) become unavailable for reasons beyond its control. Cash or credit alternatives will not be offered. None of the prizes are transferable. Events may occasionally be cancelled for reasons outside O2’s control. O2 will endeavour to promptly update any relevant information but cannot issue refunds for texts sent or calls made before this occurs (where applicable). O2 will not be liable for any change of date or venue or cancellation of any event. 

12) O2 accepts no responsibility for incorrectly completed, lost or delayed entries, notices, acceptances, tickets or other documents related to the Prize(s). 

13) In the event of fraud, abuse, and/or an error affecting the proper operation of this Prize Draw, including the allocation of more prizes than are available, O2 reserves the right to end or suspend the Prize Draw; amend these terms & conditions; declare void the notification of winner(s); and/or to allocate available prizes by conducting a simple draw from all wrongly allocated winners. Any fraud, abuse or attempt at such or any other breach of these Prize Draw terms will also be deemed to be a breach of the Star Trader Programme terms and conditions. O2 Reserves the right to suspend and/or remove and Participants operating in breach of these terms, from the Star Trader programme with immediate effect and without notice 

14) If any provision of these terms and conditions is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid. 

15) The winner(s) may be required to participate in publicity connected with this Prize Draw and it is a condition of entry that the winner(s) agree to their name and country of residence being made publicly available if they win. 

16) The names of the major winner(s) may be obtained by sending a signed handwritten request along with a stamped self-addressed envelope detailing your request to the Marketing Team, Telefónica UK Limited, 260 Bath Road, Slough SL1 4DX, and marked with the name of the Prize Draw. 

17) Entrants’ data will be collected, stored and processed for the purposes of administering and assessing this Prize Draw. If a prize includes tickets to an event then for the purpose of administering the ticket allocation, O2 reserves the right to exchange information and data regarding tickets and applications with third party ticket providers and/or service providers. 

18) O2’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

19) O2 reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the promotion and/or review and revise these terms and conditions at any time without giving prior notice and by continuing to take part in the promotion subsequent to any revision of these terms and conditions, entrants shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms. 

20)  If run over Facebook: The Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. By entering this Prize Draw, you are providing information to O2 and not to Facebook and you release of Facebook from any liability associated with this Prize Draw. 

21) This promotion is governed by English Law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Star Trader – Bring Your A Game Prize Draw and Incentive Scheme (the “Offer”)

These Terms and Conditions govern the Bring Your A Game Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw”) and incentive Scheme (the “Incentive Scheme”) (the “Terms”) and prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Participation, entry and/or claim instructions form part of the Terms which you will be deemed to have accepted if you participate. Please read the following Terms carefully and keep a copy for your information.

1. Offer Period:        Opening date - 00:01 GMT on 23.11.2017

                               Closing date – 23:59 GMT on  22.02.2018

 

2. Participation Criteria:  Both the Prize Draw and the Incentive Scheme are only open to participants of the Star Trader programme only (“Star Traders”).

 

To enter the Prize Draw Star Traders must:

 

i. reach the base target set out below at least once within the Offer Period; and

 

ii. text “A GAME” followed by their full name and current Star Trader Tier to 61202 at any point during the Offer Period.

 

To participate in the Incentive Scheme

 

Star Traders must trade and activate the target number of sims for their respective tier during the Offer Period. Targets are set out in the table (“Table 1”) below. There are two targets set for each tier; a Base Target and a Stretch Target, each with a different reward (a “Base Target Reward” and a “Stretch Target Reward”).

 

Eligible Star Traders can only qualify once for either a Base Target Reward or a Stretch Target Reward, not both. Star Traders can qualify for Base Target Rewards provided they have not reached their Stretch Target. If a Star Trader reaches their Stretch Target they will qualify for their Stretch Target Reward only. Star Traders who reach their Stretch Target more than once will earn one (1) Reward each time they reach their Stretch Target.

 

3. Prizes and Rewards

 

 


The Prize Draw Prize is £50 cash. There is only 1 Prize available. All eligible entries will be pooled and a winner drawn from that pool the next working day after the Offer Period ends. The winner will be contacted via the email address associated with their Star Trader account and must respond promptly, in accordance with Clause 6 of these terms and in accordance with instructions to claim the Prize Draw Prize. Payment will be made by bank transfer shortly after valid claim.

Rewards for the Incentive Scheme are vouchers to spend on Amazon and subject to Amazon voucher terms and conditions. The maximum value of vouchers awarded when each relevant target and tier is reached, subject to these terms and conditions, is set out in Table 1. Only one Reward per Stretch Target achieved. No part-rewards or partially-met targets will be recognised.

For the purposes of reaching the targets, an activation occurs when a customer acquired by the participating Star Trader, tops up their sim by at least £10. Only activations that have been checked as not being suspected of fraud or spam (“Cleansed Activations”) will count towards the target.

If, during the Offer Period, a Star Trader changes Tier they will be informed of their new targets. Any acquisitions accrued up to that point will be carried over and will count towards their new targets.

Targets are calculated and Rewards awarded after the Offer Period has ended and will be posted between 10 and 24 May 2018.

5. The rewards will be fulfilled via Royal Mail 2nd Class to the address associated with Traders’ profile on the Star Trader platform.

6. The Prize Draw winner will be notified via the email address associated with their Star Trader account within 1 working day of the Prize Draw Date. The winner must claim their prize within 1 week of being notified. The Prize is awarded conditionally upon acceptance and if a winner is unable to be contacted or to accept the Prize after 1 week of notification or if the Prize is unclaimed or declined within 1 week of notification, the Prize shall be deemed as unclaimed or unaccepted and a supplementary winner may be drawn at O2's discretion.

7. There are no reward alternatives available in whole or in part except in the event of circumstances outside its control, when the Promoter reserves the right to substitute similar alternatives of equal or greater value. 8. The Promoter’s decision is final with regard to all promotional matters.

9. Star Traders may be required to take part in publicity with no recompense.

10. If necessary, Star Traders should seek permission from their employer before entering into this promotion. Any tax liability as a result of entry is the Participant’s own.

11. O2 accepts no responsibility for incorrectly completed, lost or delayed entries, or other documents related to the promotion.

12. If it becomes apparent that a Star Trader has attempted to enter fraudulently, the Participant’s entry will be disqualified; any reward awarded will be void and the Star Trader will be suspended and/or removed from the programme with immediate effect and without notice.

13. In the event of fraud, abuse and/or error affecting the proper operation of this promotion, or where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this unavoidable, O2 reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the promotion and/or review and revise these terms and conditions at any time without giving prior notice and, by continuing to take part in the promotion subsequent to any revision of these terms and conditions, entrants shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms.

14. O2 shall not be liable for any failure to fulfil this offer where such failure is caused by any supervening circumstances amounting to force majeure. Such circumstances shall include, but shall not be limited to, postal strikes, terrorist attacks, website malfunction, adverse weather conditions, acts of God, economic crisis or network malfunction.

O2 will have no liability for any loss arising out of such an event.

18. O2 may at its absolute discretion disqualify any claims which O2 reasonably feels do not comply with these terms and conditions, or where any form of bad faith or abuse is suspected or where the spirit of the promotion has been compromised. Star Trader "Summer Scoop" Incentive

Key Terms

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating all claimants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. 4.     In each draw promotional period, traders will get one automatic entry into the prize draw for every uncleansed activation they earn in that draw promotional period]. For example; should a Trader gets 10 activations in any one draw promotional period, they will get 10 entries into the relevant prize draw.

5.     There will be a new prize draw with new prizes every two weeks and there are five prize draws in total as set out below. Promotions start and end dates are outlined below for each draw. Only entries within the relevant promotional dates for each prize draw will be counted for each prize draw and entries cannot roll over into the next prize draw.

7.     There are a total of 5 prize draws within the total promotional period as per section 5 above.

8.     The Prizes will be revealed every two weeks and will consist of technology products, cash via cheques, vouchers (E.g. Cinema, Dining Out, Lifestyle) and Star Trader branded accessories.

9.     Traders will be informed of what the prizes are available through emails and a pop up on the website.

10.  Prizes will also be clearly outlined in the short terms which will be displayed across all promotional material.

11.  Traders will be selected at random every two weeks and winners will be informed via email to the email addresses linked to their Trade account.

12.  All prizes will be fulfilled via Royal Mail 2nd Class recorded delivery to the address associated with Traders’ profile on the Star Trader platform. Prizes will be delivered within 28 days of promotional end dates.

23.  O2 shall not be liable for any failure to fulfil this offer where such failure is caused by any supervening circumstances amounting to force majeure. Star Trader: Mobile Broadband Trial

 

i. As a Participant of the Star Trader Mobile Broadband trial, all members agree to trade Pay As You Go Mobile Broadband sims between 01.11.16 and 31.12.16.

 

ii. Traders will be sent 50 Pay As You Go Mobile Broadband sims on 01.11.16 for them to distribute during the trial period running between the dates set out above.

11. The prize will be fulfilled within 14 days of the winner claiming their prize (Royal Mail Recorded Signed For™ Delivery) to the address provided upon prize notification.

 

12. There are no prize or cash alternatives available in whole or in part except in the event of circumstances outside its control, when the Promoter reserves the right to substitute similar alternatives of equal or greater value. 18. If it becomes apparent that a Participant has attempted to enter fraudulently, the Participant’s entry will be disqualified; any reward awarded will be void and the Participant will be suspended and/or removed from the programme with immediate effect and without notice.

 

19. In the event of fraud, abuse and/or error affecting the proper operation of this promotion, or where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this unavoidable, O2 reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the promotion and/or review and revise these terms and conditions at any time without giving prior notice and, by continuing to take part in the promotion subsequent to any revision of these terms and conditions, entrants shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms.

 

20. O2 shall not be liable for any failure to fulfil this offer where such failure is caused by any supervening circumstances amounting to force majeure. Such circumstances shall include, but shall not be limited to, postal strikes, terrorist attacks, website malfunction, adverse weather conditions, acts of God, economic crisis or network malfunction.

 

21. Sometimes, through reasons outside of O2’s control, the websites that facilitate this promotion (as with any website) may not be accessible. 22. O2 may at its absolute discretion disqualify any entries which O2 reasonably feels do not comply with these terms and conditions, or where any form of bad faith or abuse is suspected or where the spirit of the promotion has been compromised. Big Bundles Terms and Conditions

 

data Big Bundles are available to O2 Pay As You Go customers in the UK.

 

 data Big Bundles give inclusive UK monthly allowances of either:

 

£10 data Big Bundle - 250 minutes, 1000 texts and 2GB of data 

£15 data Big Bundle - 500 minutes, 1000 texts and 5GB of data 

£20 data Big Bundle - 1000 minutes, 2000 texts and 6GB of data

£25 data Big Bundle - 2000 minutes, 2000 texts and 8GB of data 

£30 data Big Bundle - 3000 minutes, 3000 texts and 20GB of data 

 

Customers can switch to Big Bundles, by visiting o2.co.uk/myo2 or calling 2202 which is free from an O2 mobile and select a Big Bundle to transfer to. When switching to Big Bundles from another tariff, a customer won't receive their new inclusive monthly Big Bundle allowance until their next tariff monthly anniversary date.

 

When O2 deduct the first month's payment for the Big Bundle from the customer’s balance, they will receive their inclusive monthly allowances which will be valid up until midnight of the day before their monthly anniversary date, which will be one calendar month later.

 

On the monthly anniversary date, O2 will attempt to deduct payment from a customer’s balance, and if successful, they will receive the new inclusive monthly allowances. If a customer doesn’t have enough balance, then they will not receive a new set of inclusive monthly allowances. They will need to top up a sufficient amount so that O2 can deduct payment and provide them with another month’s allowance. When this happens, you will receive new inclusive monthly allowances and these will be valid up until midnight of the day before your new monthly anniversary date which will be one calendar month later. If a customer doesn’t have enough credit, they'll be charged at O2’s standard rates, until all credit's gone.

 

By switching to the Big Bundles, a customer is agreeing to replace their current tariff. Any unused allowances or previous tariffs and rates will be lost and won't rollover to their new tariff. A customer can only have one tariff active at any time.

You must not use your SIM card in or connected to any other device, or in a way that adversely impacts the service to other O2 customers. If we reasonably believe your use doesn't comply with this, we reserve the right to:

  • disconnect your SIM or tariff at any time, having tried to contact you before doing this
  • remove inclusive monthly allowances from your account; and
  • impose network protection controls to protect our network from types of data usage which we think might impact on service at specific times of day and/or locations; this may reduce your speed.

O2 reserves the right to remove, vary or amend any element of these Terms. If any of the changes mean your customer is worse off, O2 will notify them by text. These changes will start straightaway.

Inclusive Minutes and Call Charges

 

Eligible calls made using inclusive minutes allowance are counted by the minute not by the second and will be rounded up to the nearest minute. Calls made outside of a customer’s inclusive minutes allowance to landline and mobiles are charged by the minute, not by the second, and will be rounded up to the nearest minute. Each call charge is then rounded up to the next whole penny. Calls made outside inclusive minutes allowance to voicemail are charged per call at the standard tariff rate.

 

Calls to O2 Customer Service on 4445 from your O2 mobile are free or you can call 0344 809 0222 from any other line. Hours of opening are 8am to 9pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm Saturday and 8am to 6pm Sunday.

Your inclusive minutes allowance cannot be used for calls made in the UK for the following:

Inclusive Texts and Message Charges

 

Your inclusive texts allowance can be used for texts sent in the UK to 07 numbers allocated to UK mobile network operators that provide mobile services with substantial national coverage. This currently includes the major mobile operators O2, Everything Everywhere (formerly known as Orange and T-Mobile), Vodafone and 3, and other virtual mobile providers such as Virgin Mobile and Tesco Mobile.

 

O2 may exclude from your inclusive texts allowance any texts sent to any number ranges which O2 reasonably believes are being used for call forwarding services, onward calling services or numbers that pay a revenue share.

 

If you have a Bolt On which includes a UK texts allowance, your inclusive texts allowance will be used first followed by your Bolt On texts allowance.

 

Once you've used all your inclusive texts allowance and any Bolt On texts allowance you may have, any UK texts sent to UK mobiles will be charged at the standard tariff rate.

 

Your inclusive texts allowance cannot be used for:

Inclusive Data and Data Charges

If you have a Bolt On which includes a UK data allowance, your inclusive data allowance will be used first followed by your Bolt On data allowance. This does not apply to the Web Daily Bolt On which will always be used before your inclusive data allowance.

 

After you've used your inclusive data allowance and any Bolt On data allowance you may have, you'll be charged at standard tariff rates when using data in the UK subject to a daily fair usage. A day is based on from 00:00 to 23:59 UK time.

 

You can use O2 UK's 2G (GPRS and Edge), 3G and 4G data networks when using your inclusive data allowance.

 

In order to use our 4G data network, you will need a 4G enabled device with 4G coverage.

 

To use any of O2's data services, your mobile must be data compatible and enabled for the type of data network you want to access. Access to data services is subject to network coverage.

 

All data usage must be for your private, personal and non-commercial purposes.

 

 

Additional Terms and Conditions for 4G Services

 

1. These terms and conditions apply to anyone taking a service from O2 that provides access to 4G.

 

2. Access to O2 4G services is only available on selected packages, ask in store or check on the O2 website for more details.

 

3. The 4G package will only allow you to access our 4G services in the UK. Roaming is not currently available with our 4G services.

 

4. We reserve the right to implement 4G speed caps in future. Any details will be listed on our website.

 

5. Our 4G services may be affected by the number of people using the 4G service, maintenance and upgrades, faults from other networks, the weather, other environmental factors or degradation.

 

6. You should check our coverage checker at o2.co.uk/coveragechecker before signing up to our 4G services. This is an indication and prediction of outdoor coverage, but coverage may vary depending on time and location. Data reception and speeds may not be as good indoors or in a car. 7. In order to access 4G Services customers will need a 4G ready phone, 4G services package, 4G sim card and they may need to do a software update on their phone if it does not have the software required to access 4G services. Customers are responsible for ensuring they have inserted their 4G sim and installing a 4G software update on their phone (if required). 8. Once a customer has access to O2’s 4G Services, they will be able to access mobile internet data over the 4G network whenever they are in a 4G coverage area. When in O2’s other mobile data network areas (for example Edge/GPRS/3G/HSPA areas) customers will still be able to access non-4G data over these networks as usual.

 

9. The data allowance (where applicable) will be used for all our different types of mobile data (for example Edge/GPRS/3G/HSPA areas) and will not differentiate between the types of mobile data customers are using. The data allowance will not rollover from one month to another.

 

 

O2 Mobile Broadband Pay As You Go Consumer Tariff Terms

 

(If you are on a Pay As You Go Data Tariff on or after 8 May 2014)

 

1. O2 Mobile Broadband allowance includes (unless expressly stated otherwise):

 

a. A specified amount of data via use of O2's Edge/GPRS/3G/HSPA networks (and also including O2's 4G network on selected packages when specified);

 

b. Data usage for personal internet use via a modem or data card or the device for which a sim card has been provided to a customer and is intended to be used in; and

 

c. For use in the UK only

 

2. All data usage must be for a customer’s private, personal and non-commercial purposes. Regardless of the amount of data a customer uses, they must not use their sim:

 

1. in, or connected to, any device other than the one which it was supplied with or intended by us for use with; or

 

2. in such a way that we reasonably believe adversely impacts the service to other O2 customers. O2 reserve the right to use appropriate traffic shaping or throttling measures to protect their network from types of data usage which they think might impact on levels of service for customers at specific times of day and/or in specific locations.

 

3. A compatible device and compatible software will be required to access O2 Mobile Broadband.

 

4. Access to O2 Mobile Broadband is subject to network coverage.

O2 Mobile Broadband Pay as you Go - non recurring (top-up)

 

1. O2 Mobile Broadband Pay As You Go access is available to purchase either on a daily or monthly basis.

 

2. Connection to O2 Mobile Broadband Pay As You Go is subject to status and agreeing to the terms of the Pay As You Go O2 Airtime Contract.

 

3. A customer’s O2 Mobile Broadband access will expire: after their data allowance is used up, if this is used up before the time period expires or when the time period expires, whichever is sooner. Some offers (like Starter Kits) include longer expiry periods, if this is the case, a customer will be told at the time of purchase by staff, the O2 website or on the packaging of the sim pack. Option available to sign up to recurring monthly payment plan.

 

4. There is a maximum of 12GB of access allowed on any one sim card at any time. A customer will not be able to top-up to a value of more than 12GB at any time on these tariffs.

 

5. If a customer’s next top-up would take their data allowance over the 12GB limit then the top-up will take their data allowance up to the maximum of 12GB. For the avoidance of doubt the maximum data allowance a customer can have is 12GB irrespective of their top-up.

 

6. Data will only rollover (up to a max of 12GB) if another 30-day bundle is purchased before the data expiry date. Data will only continue to rollover if the account is topped-up every 30 days.

 

7. There is a spend limit that is imposed at both a daily and monthly level.

 

8. Access can only be purchased using your credit/debit card. Payment can be made using Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard and American Express* (*with the exception of iPad customers). This clause supersedes any contradictory term in the O2 Pay As You Go airtime agreement.

 

O2 Mobile Broadband Pay As You Go (with recurring access payments - monthly package)

 

1. O2 Mobile Broadband Pay As You Go access is also available to purchase on a recurring monthly payment basis.

 

2. A customer’s monthly recurring payment is made for a month in advance and will automatically be debited from their chosen payment card on their monthly payment date. A customer may cancel a recurring payment at any point up to midday on the day before the next monthly payment date. If a customer cancel’s their recurring payment during a monthly cycle or after midday on the day before the next recurring payment is due then they will be able to continue using the service until their data expires, but O2 will not refund any payment that a customer has made.

 

3. It is possible to purchase additional specific amounts of access on top of a customer’s monthly recurring allowance, although they are not able to have more than 12GB of access available on their sim card at any time.

 

4. Whenever a customer buys additional monthly access or choose to make a new recurring payment date, the expiry date of any data on your sim card will be extended until the expiry date of the data they have just bought or the next recurring payment date.

 

5. If a customer’s next recurring payment would take their data allowance over the 12GB limit then the recurring payment will take their data allowance up to the maximum of 12GB. For the avoidance of doubt the maximum data allowance a customer can have is 12GB irrespective of their recurring payment.

 

6. Data will only rollover (up to a max of 12GB) if another monthly top-up is purchased before the data expiry date. Data will only continue to rollover if the account is topped-up every month.

Can I cancel/ change my order?

Unfortunately not, once your order has been placed this cannot be changed or cancelled.

How many sims can I order?

This depends on what tier you are.

  • Bronze tier Star Traders can order up to 20 Pay As You Go sims per month.
  • Silver can order up to 125 Pay As You Go sims per month.
  • Gold can order up to 500 Pay As You Go sims  per month.
  • Platinum can order up to 550 Pay As You Go sims per month 

What is a combi sim?

Combi sims can be used as a standard sim or as a micro-sim. It will fit in any phone except the iPhone 5's and iPhone 6's.
