Is this scheme supported by O2?

Yes, O2 have created this programme so that you can order sims directly from us. We’ll also pay you directly.

Can I cancel/ change my order?

Unfortunately not, once your order has been placed this cannot be changed or cancelled.

Can I sign up multiple accounts?

No, you can only sign up one Star Trader account. Your despatch address, email address, name and bank details must only be linked to one account.

 

If you attempt to sign up more than one account, you’ll breach our terms and conditions. If we suspect you’ve opened or have attempted to open multiple accounts, we’ll have to suspend your original account and any multiple accounts.

What is an activation?

This is when a sim is topped up for the first time with £10 or more.


What are the Tiers?

Changes for Bronze Traders 1st May 2014

From 1st May 2014, the sim allowance for all bronze traders will be reset to 10.

To make a new order, traders must now have an activation rate of at least 20%.

Please note, your activation rate will remain the same and will not be reset.

We upload activations two months after you receive them.

This means any new traders will have to wait at least two months before placing a second order. 

These changes have been made to reduce sim wastage and to encourage a more effective way of distributing sims. 

Setting a better direction for traders

Before you trade, think:

Is my customer likely to activate their sim card?

Could I save placing a new order by distributing my current stock?

Could I encourage my customer to activate their new sim by telling them the benefits of being on O2 and earn more commission for myself?

What are the Tiers?

There are four main Star Trader tiers: bronze, silvergold and platinum.

You’ll start on the bronze tier once you’re signed up and will move up or down tiers depending on your activation rate and number of activations you receive.

An activation is when a sim is topped up for the first time using a £10 top-up or more.

Your activation rate is a percentage of your sims which become activated against the sims you order. You can find your activation rate on your dashboard. Your rate is likely to change when you place sim orders and when you receive activations.

Your account and tier status will be reviewed 4 times a year.

We’ll take an average of your activation rate each month and we’ll review your tier status every 3 months:

We’ll take a record of your activation rate on the last day of each month and carry out the tier upgrades and downgrades on the last day of each quarter.

If you join Star Trader after the first monthly activation rate is taken, we’ll review your tier status in the next quarter.
